fyi: should anyone ever need a fairly quick, and pretty decent file conversion, head on over to Zamzar
I’m doing a WordPerfect file conversion through them now. Can you imagine that? A WORDPRESS file?
You select your file, you choose the format to convert to, you enter your email addy, and click Convert
A bit of time will pass and then they’ll email you a link.
And yes, it’s free, although paid-plans are available.

I enjoy posting to my blog, especially when I’ve got something burning to say or a desire to share.

It’s certainly not for the money that I do so.

But after reading Seth’s excellent post on why anyone should do anything, I’m wondering now if indeed I’ll become rich from my blog!

Seriously though, Seth’s post is concise and to the proven point. A good read with which to start out the week.

What a casual treat this post I found today. I’m usually finding out that the day is perfect for spending time with the family, or getting round to that overlooked task, or even taking the day to be-at-one with nature.

Seems i have some issues in layout for most everything but FireFox. I discovered these rendering issues through one of my favorite web-apps– BrowserShots

I will get back to repairs shortly.

I confess, I do most of my coding in Dreamweaver, and rely perhaps a bit too heavily on the “check browser compatibility” feature. And as I currently receive a clean no-error response, additional research is needed.

If you by chance come across this post, and after peeking at my current messy CSS file and see an obvious issue, feel free to comment.

After a bit of thought…

…it was actually a no-brainer that my first forward is to give props to the folk at CodeScheme.net for their simple, straight-forward 4-part tutorial/instruction series on designing your basic wordPress theme from scratch.

I realize there are tons of similar instructions out their, many of which may compare in their simplicity. I invite you to share them in your comments. But for me, something about their instructions simply rang in harmony with my ability to understand.
