How long have I been under that rock anyway? I just today found out about “Fundable“.

What a great idea this is.

Really.

In a nutshell: because that’s all they ever became. If you don’t act on your ideas, they wither and shrink away.

It used to be that, getting a simple t-shirt idea out of the brain, or even off the drawing board, required a great deal of capital. Not any more.

In this post, I’ll simply note my “idea” for a humorous T-Shirt took nothing more an:

• The Idea
• The Sketch
• The trip to Illustrator
• The trip to Photoshop
• The trip to Firefox

All told, no monies spent, and about an hour or two of musing and sketching and fiddling.

An now, all i need do is decide witch of my favorite online T-Shirt Partners with whom I wish to launch.
(update on 10.28.07– the t-shirt design, with about an hour or so more time invested, is now on all four of my favorite tShirt websites.)

There’s four on my list, all well established, and all with very easy registration and procedure.

You’ll soon notice that although similar, each of the online “shops” offers not only interfaces that are somewhere between the ever-respected “thoughtless” and the “oh-yeah, that’s how i’m supposed to do that”, but give different ways in which the artwork is/can-be displayed on the shirt.

They also offer varying opportunities for profit– from user-set dollar mark-up, user-set percentage mark-up, and simply a percentage.

Go check them out, and let me know what you think of my design (heck, buy one!), and what you think about the site’s offerings to the user.
