The seed for this blog actually began about a year or so ago. There is one individual I know that has a habit of sending everything he receives by email along to everyone in his address book. Well, not everything, but at least the things he finds amusing, funny, interesting, or at the least thought provoking. Hmm, that just may be everything he receives.
Anyway, I thought I would be nice and explain…
…that every time he forwards an email that has already been forwarded countless times, everyone he forwards it to gets all the previous emails to add to their ‘i wanna be a spammer’ list, as well as the 15 attachments of the 5 megabyte really-cool-video-I-found. After I told him he should clean up his act, or at least his act of forwarding, he simply asked me if I’d like to be removed from his address book. Whadyah gonna do?
I’ve decided to share.
It will be the intent of this blog to share those types of items that put me in the position where I’m often asked “how did you learn all that stuff anyway?” From thoughts, to other sites, to other blogs, to various readings, and maybe even a few more thoughts thrown in.
Blogging has come full-circle it seems. From comment to closure, from input to inane. And to think that I’ve just recently joined this blogosphere.
I’m currently floating/flirting with wordPress (2.3.2).
I’m certainly one of the most A.D.D. surfers that i know. Most likely this is fed by the fact I spend the majority of my day in front of a computer, working on everything from recruitment communications materials to website development to content management to design for simply design’s sake.
As Homer Simpson might say “I come across many items relating to many things”.
Some of discoveries are entertaining. Others are very informative, and others are discovered only as result of blowing away the chaff.
And I’m sure this focus, or intent will change in time.
Things always seem to change.
That seems to be the only constant at all.
